Oh Boy!

So the other day I finally realized Ryan's clothes are getting kinda small on him. You know he has the play clothes, the going out clothes. the church clothes, and the "sure that fits but doesn't match" clothes. It must be an age thing because he is not 18 months anymore and he is not quite 2 yet. So,I went through his closet and found the organized (yeah right) section on 2T clothing. (Most of it was contributed between my very thoughtful mother in law and my cousin Sara with 3 boys.) Oh Boy! They fit so nicely! I never realized camo can look so good!

My very good friend Robyn had a baby boy 2weeks after Maya was born. So we got invited to hang out with them last Thursday. It was so nice to see her new bundle along with showing off mine. And well, Ryan somewhat made it...he decided to have a runny nose and then puke in the car on the way to Mesa. So he stayed with Veronica and DeMarco. My other good friend Stacey hung out with us also. Her little guy Max stayed with his grandma. It was a nice day to be with good friends and talk about babies and mommy stuff. Robyn has a daughter Sierra that is 4 and she is so cute. I was given just a glimpse on what to look forward to by having a girl. She had every princess dress there is and every kind of girl "foo foo". It made me excited to see the pinks, reds, purple toys and closet full of dolls than cars, big trucks and boy stuff.

So when Maya and Andon were changed and feed they were ready for a nap so Andon offered a side of his crib to her. Kinda fast for a 3 wk old hugh? J/K! So as you can see them napping side by side. They are both noisy sleepers and Maya seemed to keep Andon awake for the first 10 min. Then the typical male thing...he developed "selective hearing" and just feel asleep while Maya talked away. She didn't last very long in the crib..that girl likes to be held.

Ok so I am finally getting back into this blogging thing again. I just had this conversation with Danielle yesterday. I am just not a good blogger yet. I do have a valid excuse...adjusting to 2 kids! Hee hee. I know what you are saying...ok so Sara has 4 kids and she makes time to blog! So, its been a month yup a month has gone by! It has been an adjustment but a good one. I have been doing good health wise and Maya so far is doing good too. Ryan has been a big help. He gets the diapers and blankee for Maya and when she cries he sure lets me know and will try oh so hard to get that binky in her mouth. As we were getting ready for church today Mike was shaving and I had to get Ryans clothes from downstairs so, i ran down and came back up and Ryan had managed to get on our bed and find our spare binky in the nightstand drawer and try to shhh the baby. That is his way of trying to get her to stop. He says "shhh baby" and will pat her stomach. He has been such a good boy to her. As for me...well I am the enemy. He is adjusting also and is a little frustrated at times and will not be nice to mommy. Its sure hard being on the way to 2.

I found out this morning that most of Maya's dresses are to big for her yet, so the blue duck dress came from a friend and it was the only thing that would fit. Lets say, she doesn't look bad in blue. Mike had a little cow about it. He wants her in pink 24/7! Seriously!
